Type 430 is a low carbon ferritic stainless steel that is oxidation resistant at elevated temperatures. Type 430 is ductile, does not readily work harden, and can be formed using a variety of techniques. Ferritic stainless steels, like Type 430, are magnetic. Type 430 is available in limited quantities in COIL and SHEET form at Sidecuts.com®.
